Capricious Poodles is a name conceived by my artist friend, Zefi, who lives in Tasmania. I hadn't come up with a name for the dolls I make beyond "sock poodle dolls".
The dolls are fun to make. They're made from the classic sock monkey socks, but I don't use the pattern that's included with the socks. My dolls are each unique because I don't use a pattern at all. I just cut and sew and POOF! There's a poodle doll!
